Easter weekend 1948, The White Lady food truck was born from and idea by Bryan “Pop” Washer to serve the hungry (and thirsty) 6oclock swill and quickly became a popular eating and meeting place. Today The White Lady is widely known as an institution, a rite of passage and an icon of Auckland City… and has put down roots on K Road.
Generations later the same family continue building their business on quality, reliability and hard work to bring you the best burgers and shakes in that unique Kiwi way. Their burgers are cooked to order using only fresh premium ingredients. Their New Zealand beef and bacon is free farmed and they only use fresh free range chicken and eggs. Produce is handpicked daily from local markets.
